Tesla Model 3, Model Y & Model Y L Dashboard Sun Mat

Tesla Model 3, Model Y & Model Y L Dashboard Sun Mat

Choose a suede-finish dashboard mat for your Tesla Model 3, Model Y or Model Y L from the vehicle-specific options. The dark upper surface is intended to reduce visible dashboard reflections while adding a fabric layer over the matching dash area. Rear-window mats and sunshade combinations are available only where named in the selected option.

A tailored layer over the dashboard

The installed view shows the mat following the dashboard shape. Choose the correct cabin generation so that the cutouts and edges align with your vehicle. A mat for an original Model 3 or Model Y should not be substituted for the refreshed version.

Model Y refreshed and Model Y L option

The pictured standalone mat illustrates the refreshed Model Y and six-seat Model Y L version. Additional options cover Model Y 2024, Model Y 2021–2023, Model 3 Highland and original Model 3. Confirm the dashboard and speaker layout before ordering.

Dark suede-finish surface

The source shows a layered mat with a dark suede-like face. A darker, less reflective surface may make dashboard reflections less distracting in some lighting conditions. No measured temperature reduction or guaranteed glare-elimination performance is supplied.

Keep vents, sensors and speakers clear

Lay the mat flat and check all openings before driving. It must not cover vents, sensors, speakers, displays or any airbag deployment area. The refreshed Model Y / Model Y L option is described by the supplier as leaving the speaker area uncovered.

Select the mat or bundle you actually need

The Model 3 Highland rear-window option contains a rear-window mat rather than a dashboard mat. A separate two-mat option includes both. Refreshed Model Y bundles add a windshield shade, or windshield and roof shades. Use removable sunshades only while parked and remove them before driving.
