  MAIER uses plain weave Toray 3K carbon fiber (200gsm dry fabric), woven in the USA by Composite Fabrics of America (Taylorsville, NC). Each spoiler features a carbon fiber / fiberglass / carbon fiber sandwich construction, providing improved impact resistance without unnecessary weight.

  Instead of epoxy, MAIER utilizes polyester resin combined with a clear gel coat, a system commonly used in marine applications due to its superior UV stability. This construction method is specifically chosen to withstand year-round sunlight exposure while maintaining surface integrity and finish quality.
