Tesla Model 3 & Model Y Front and Rear License Plate Mounting Bases
Replace a matching front or rear license plate mounting base on Tesla Model 3 or Model Y. Options distinguish original and refreshed designs plus the Model Y May 2022 production change.
2021–2022 Model Y front base
Check the front/back mounting geometry and production group. This earlier option is separate from the after-May-2022 and 2023–2024 versions.
Refreshed Model Y front base
The refreshed front option has its own moulded profile. Compare plate spacing and bumper mount positions; regional plate formats can differ.
Model 3 Highland option
The refreshed Model 3 bracket is separate from the original 2019–2023 Model 3 version. Choose the appropriate supplier option rather than a visually similar frame.
Model Y May 2022 change
The reference compares bases before and after May 2022. Match the original bracket if production timing or market version is uncertain.
